The meeting was organised by Merseyside Expanding Horizons. The meeting was very substantive – a large part of it was devoted to a workshop, as well as a discussion related to the findings of the research phase of the project so far, consultations with companies: especially in the area of companies’ objections to employing a Mental Health Leader (the problem of openly addressing the topic of mental health in an organisation, as well as the costs, ̇which are a barrier for smaller organisations or NGOs). At the same time, many companies emphasise the huge demand and interest in the topic. As a ́result of this discussion, important changes were made to the role description and a final model for approaching the role of the Mental Health Leader in an organisation was developed. The starting point for the discussion was the topic related to the next outcome – that is, the process of identifying and implementing the MHL role in the organisation.
The agenda for the meeting also included an introduction to the planned development programme (the third result).
